You need to complete the hard wired project:
Hard Wired M-Component - 2x + 10 Hard Wired Tech (M-Component for mask, you get it...)
Hard Wired C-Component - 2x + 10 Hard Wired Tech
Hard Wired B-Component - 2x + 10 Hard Wired Tech
Hard Wired G-Component - 2x + 10 Hard Wired Tech
Hard Wired H-Component - 2x + 10 Hard Wired Tech
Hard Wired K-Component - 2x + 10 Hard Wired Tech
Hard Wired meta-blueprint (for all six pieces) - 10 Hard Wired Tech
Start with collecting 30 Hard Wired Tech from Black Tusk mercenaries. For that project you need 70 in complete. Go to the occupied Dark Zone (use matchmake if you like) and attack Landmarks, this will give that tech relatively fast. Optional you can go for Black Tusk everywhere on the mega-map, but I recommend the occupied Dark Zone.
Hard Wired Tech
- Black Tusk - occupied Dark Zone + open world activities
Farm for the components (if you do not already have them). To succeed, switch - if you get no drop -, between hard and challenging (difficulty), while running the component list.
Hard Wired M-Component
- Mask - Grand Washington Hotel
Hard Wired C-Component
- Chest - Jefferson Trade Center
Hard Wired B-Component
- Backpack - Federal Emergency Bunker
Hard Wired G-Component
- Gloves - Lincoln Memorial
Hard Wired H-Component
- Holster - Air & Space Museum
Hard Wired K-Component
- Kneepads - Bank Headquarters
If you have all six different components collected, you will recieve a meta-blueprint. Now you have to repeat the procedure to aquire the components (again) for the construction of the gear set. Again, collect the second batch of 30 Hard Wired Tech, construct, and farm (again) for the last 10 tech you need to end that project.
This tutorial is based on my personal experience from The Division and from his sucessor. Farming for specific gear and parts can be fun and frustrating, I say work on the first mindset instead of the second, because that's the game and it will not change only why you can't master it. The Division 2 has a learning curve, much lower than in his predecessor, get used to it, it's rewarding - be the master (of the game).
Last but not least, as every (classified or) confidential gear set: Is it worth it? I say yes. Hard Wired is a boss-stopper, additional a supporter and fun to play.
I hope this helps the one or the other.
