Okay, been playing this for quite awhile. Zero issues on my system (I9-9900k, 64Gb, z390-e, 1070 gtx, etc. etc. etc.) and all while using a 32" led tv as a monitor (60hz). So i finally break down and buy a MSI 34" 144hz MAG342CQR and poof, game is now worthless. Crashes no matter what the video settings are on. What's even more fun is the rare 10 minutes it'll play after tweaking the settings...I run into the issue where adjusting the volume blacks the screen out. I've seen a ton of posts relating to this issue, but nobody seems to have found a fix? I've tried changing window fullscreen/windowed, etc., directX12 on/off and even took the graphics right down to the bare minimum (although figured if it played on high while using a 60hz led tv, should do it on a 144hz monitor right? So is there really a fix for this or should I just call it quits? It's the ONLY game I have that crashes, including the large world oriented like assassin's creed, cyberpunk, etc. I've gone through my settings through nvidia/win10 desktop to make sure everything matched, etc. I haven't tuned in the monitor fully since I figured that at stock setting if this is happening, why push just another issue? If there is a fix, please share it. I've been searching these forums for a week and found very little to go on and the few things I've found haven't helped in the least. Although i did read the last patch was supposed to fix this?
And yes, for the record I read through the stickys hoping one of those things would solve it. What's weird is that the first time I hooked up the monitor everything played just fine. Now it crashes less than 2 minutes into the game.
