I'v been looking forward to play this game ever since i saw the trailers as i thought it would be a fun experience and a great game. I never played TD1 as I'm a casual gamer (38y) that try to play whenever i have some free time from RL obligations. As of that i reached level 30 yesterday and are still strolling through story mode.
I came to the forums to improve my game experience, to learn game mechanics, find, some new tips and tricks and work towards "end game content".

I'm the type of player that likes to plan ahead. To work towards a certain goal, build, gear, talent, skills ,...

But sadly the few threads giving tips and pointers or build video's are outclassed with all the threads with a negative setting. Why is that? It can't be all that bad?

As with any community it's always the discontent people that are more vocal but with this game it looks like there are only discontent people.

Maybe i should stay away from the forums but then i'd miss out on interesting stuff (for example someone posting a run with skills only, no guns)?

I think this is what it comes down to. People want to let us know what needs improvement because they know we're looking for feedback. We have an ongoing PTS, after all.

There's different kinds of negativity. Constructive criticism is always welcome, and really as long as you don't flame other people you're going to be fine.
