So TU4 just rolled out and this morning I was super excited. Then I see a You Tube video about another exploit and it just ruins my good impression of the developers. It seems that I can switch clans to lower level clan and buy OP gear. So I have already seen quite a few people leaving and rejoining, now I understand why. In the clans it says level up for better rewards. But that's nonsense, the best I have seen since we hit L30 was a 9% Wpn Damage backpack, certainly not +30% Armour. Where are our rewards for working so hard and putting in the hours to build a strong clan. Are the developers trying to destroy the clan by encouraging people to switch? All that happens is that a, say, L12 clan will be inundated with requests to join, then everyone will leave as soon as they have bought the gear. To me this is another abuse of the system, but not against any rules I can see. I have no intention of doing it, but that puts me at a huge disadvantage. This week its 30% armour, next it may be 15%LMG damage, etc. This then just makes the DZ even more unplayable because those that use these legal exploits are at a massive advantage, and those of us that think its against the spirit of the game suffer. If anything the rng should favour the higher level clans. Many of our members give up countless hours of their time to help new members, guide people through raids etc etc. We have a clan of over 100 active members, helping people get more out of the game and benefiting Ubisoft; and our thanks is to be penalised and encouraged to cheat.
What really upsets me, is that the developers are exceptionally talented and bright people. When they come up with these ideas how can they not see it will be abused. It leads t to believe that they want it to be abused, but where is the benefit of having everybody switching clans every week.
I should be posting today about the great things in TU4; (like my unbreakable build no longer working as I have lost a blue..thanks. Hours of joyless gear farming ahead), but instead I'm discussing this. Very disappointed. I just want a game that is fair and rewards people for doing good things. why do you seem to always rewards the cheats.

So, this is a complicated question - but to address the title: No. The developers do not create exploits on purpose.

These types of systems and RNG vendors and clan levels and categories can be complicated, but the development team is not actively trying to ruin the game. They want, just like myself and I presume everybody else on these forums, to make the game as enjoyable and as fun as it can be.
