I'm sorry for the delay in getting to your post, we've been rather busy lately!
If you're still encountering this error, please try the following steps and let us know if the issue persists.
Can you also confirm if you're playing with a controller or with mouse and keyboard? I have heard someone receiving the error only when a controller was connected, so if you have one connected let's try unplugging it and launching the game and then reconnecting the controller.
