Some months ago, I ceased playing the Division 2 due to its extreme instability and constant crashing. With the commencement of the current season, I returned to the game with the expectation that all the technical issues would have been resolved and it would now function without any problems. However, my assumptions were incorrect as I have been experiencing game crashes, particularly when I try to swap gear or use fast travel. Despite investing numerous hours in reading support threads and applying various remedies, the game remains highly problematic, with a lot of crashes!

I have also:

  • Performed a fresh reinstall of Windows 11, including all updates and drivers
  • I have tried 3 versions of the nVidia graphics driver for my card
  • I have followed various suggestions regarding changes to Windows Exploit Protection


Other games work fine. The Division 2 is the only game crashing!

As I understand you are experiencing these crashes under specific circumstances with gear-swapping and fast travel, would you be able to provide whether this is on particular sets, or particular fast travel routes? Or is this a more generalised issue that you feel you are facing with potentially not a clear trigger?
