This game has nothing to foster long term retention.

Part of the problem:

- impossible to interact with other people in this game
- chat is filled with spam
- you underestimated how many people find VOIP coms in online games now days unbearable and thus don't use it
- what if I see a person in my AO, how do I engage them and ask if they want to group? You can try and catch their name and send a whisper but rarely is that feasible
- matchmaking is sporadic and doesn't seem to work a lot of the time
- nothing really to work for once you near max gear score, at this point it turns into Diablo 3, only less fun
- crafting becomes utterly useless (actually it was pretty much useless the entire time, rarely was there anything I could craft that was an upgrade)
- why were all the upgrades to the bases merely cosmetic. They don't open up any new activities. Maybe the farm could sell stuff to give you short term boosts
- no marketplace (this is the big one right here, notice how Diablo 3 population disappeared over night when they removed it) I wanna be able to sell mats, weapons, gear. (this also plays into crafting being so bad)
- environment - the physics in this game feel 1990-ish. Why can't my guy climb over a trash bag? Why can I hop over this 2 foot brick wall here but not they 10 over there?
- no player or clan housing or something for you to personalize and work towards
- the weapons are all out of whack. an M60 has near full stability? While an M249 has half as much? (I carried an M249 for 8 years in the Army and have fired many many many rounds thru every LMG that was in service at the time, so many rounds I got sick of doing it, sick of cleaning the weapons afterwards too)
- the reticles, seriously, changing your scope doesn't change your reticle or the way the weapon feels? (with the exception of the long range scope on sniper rifles) that feels so half-*** and 1990-ish

Feels like this game needed a better end-game design and another year of development.

Out of curiosity - and hypothetically - what do you each feel end game content should consist of? What kind of experience are you looking for?

To those already at max Gear Score, what content do you feel best holds your interest? To those not, what kind of experience (both in the moment and to strive for) makes you feel invested?
