I was here browsing the forum as per usual and shaking my head at how much people clash and discuss about the smallest of things and its not the first time this occurs to me but i though i would put it to words and maybe we can have a decent discussion about it .
apart from the PC elite vs the console peasants jokes there is an undeniable truth that both platforms offer a diferent experience , this said obviously things in game will feel diferently from platform to platform, but unfortunately this days , hence the thread title , we cant separate the players by platform or that is seen as discrimination.
the problem with this is that we have people all over the internet discussing between apples and oranges and while they are both right on their own right for wanting the peleer to suit and perform better with their kind of fruit, we all know that is not possible or even desirable, but the snowflake generation we have now doesnt care about that , what matters is that we are suposed to be all "equal" , what ever that means .
maybe there is no more diferent experiences in the world , maybe we all feel the same and play the same way , keyboards and mouse vs a controller its all the same too, we also have the same skill , nobody can be better or know better or someone will be offended , and we can have people going at each other throats because of discussions but god save us from offending anyone, that we cant have , if a snowfalke cries the world ends.
i wish this so sensible and political correct BS would go away fast , truths need to be told and things have to be called by their names or else we are just here constantly running around in circles and engaging in completly irrelevant and unecessary discussions that help NO ONE!
this is my opinion , formed after seeing countless pc guys arguing with countless console guys about something in game and not givig a flying F about on who plays where just because there is no disntiction whatsoever unless they decide to state it , and even then few people care about it and keep arguing that their way is the better way, i dont get it.
and this takes us to the eclipse bag nerf which is a good analogy to this too , who cares if the thing was bad on PVP only ? nerf it to the ground , throw away what could be a breakthrough on how gear sets probably should work to sinergize together or with high end gear and lets call it a day, F 99% of the playerbase because PVP and PVE its all the same when it comes to balance , they are "equal" too it seems.
