Re: [Game breaking graphical issues](/topic/99828/game-breaking-graphical-issues)

I have the same problems as described in the thread above. Got a promt that the topic was "quite old" and I should make a new post. Both me and my friend have the same issues. From a almost all white screen to almost complete darkness, flashing green full screen tint, crazy terrain glitching. Never played the game and it worked the first time we tried it after installed but now nothing seems to help.
On reddit I found post stating that changing to dx12 mode could help but it got so laggy that I barely could operate the starting menu of the game. I use a dell 165Hz 1440p monitor, with my specs below. Is it realistic that I shouldn't be able to play the game with dx12 active?

My setup
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19043) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)
MB: Asus B550i Strix Gaming
BIOS: 2007
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
GPU: RTX 3070
Ram: 2x16 GB G.skill cl16 3600MHz

Thanks for all help!

Hello there @frankcastl3! Welcome to the forums 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you're encountering these graphical issues in-game. As shared by @Adrian-11 and @dagrommit, we are aware of graphical issues occurring following the release of several Nvidia drivers (most recently the 471.96 update). The development team has been notified of this issue and are investigating further. You can follow the investigation into this issue in this thread.

@dagrommit shares some great workaround suggestions. Several players have reported that rolling back their drivers has helped to resolve these graphical issues in their own game, so it's definitely worth giving this a go. I'd recommend checking out the linked thread for more workarounds that have been suggested by both the development team and community in the meantime.

Thanks! 😊
