I think I have solutions to crashing and stutter. I have been stutter free and crash free for 2 days of play. I always get one stutter that disables the move key until you release it and drops frame rate. To fix the stutter, set "UbisoftConnect.exe" to run as administrator. To fix crash, you need to "allow another app" for "UbisoftConnect.exe" in "Windows defender firewall." I was struggling with the same crash in Rainbow Six Siege until I tried the crash solution. Firewall must be dropping the games, so they crash and freeze. Hope you find this helpful.

Hey @nongenuine

Thanks for sharing what has worked for you on preventing crashing and stuttering with games. We often suggest to run Ubisoft Connect and the game .exe file as admin too and know firewalls can sometimes cause issues with games, but we're unable to provide troubleshooting within those or suggest disabling them to see if they are causing a problem, so thanks for letting players know what to try doing in Windows Defender.
