So you'd think the solution is have him join my game right? Nope if he joins me he scales it up to his level still. So we can't play together. Or he has to stop playing and let me catch up.
Actually, you can keep playing together - you just have to be more careful. I did this just fine with multiple clan members and was also able to get them up to 30 just fine and we all had a great time enjoying the game just fine.
