I have a UK based PSN account yet live in Japan. I initially bought a Japanese disc copy of the game which I was able to play on my UK account but on finding issues with accessing DLC and other services I quit playing.
I have today bought, via the UK Psn store, the digital version of warlords of new york ultimate edition assuming that purchasing a copy on the proper region storefront would allow me to start fresh and have access to all content.
However while I can initially log in to character select (and my previous character from the Japanese version shows up) and trying to start the game I get a DELTA 01 error whether I attempt to use the previous character or make a new one.
Presumably my Psn account is tied to ubisoft servers and getting confused by the change in region.
How can I go about fixing this? (I have tried the delta 01 advice available already)

Hello there WraithD13! Welcome to the forums!

I'm sorry to hear you're encountering connectivity issues. Thanks for trying some troubleshooting steps for us already.

If you haven't already, you may want to check out this support article regarding PS4 regions, and region lock. While the PS4 isn't technically a region-locked system, you may run into issues if you are trying to play games from a different region than the one you are currently in.

In order to ensure full functionality, please ensure that your game, PSN account, and any DLC are of the same region. Please note that your PSN Online ID will also be tied to a specific region.

I recommend that you reach out to PlayStation Support, as they will be better equipped to answer questions regarding region compatibility.

If you're interested in unlinking your PSN account from your Ubisoft account, I'd recommend creating a support ticket so our team can take a closer look at this for you. You can reach our support teams here:
- Open a Support case
- Start a Live chat
- Twitter and Facebook

If you mean that you'd like to unlink the Japanese version of the game from both your PSN account, and by link your Ubisoft account, this is something that we would be unable to do. You might want to reach out to PlayStation support, who may be able to advise you better on this.

Thanks!
