[2019] Demolitionist signature weapon: Ammo gone on next login?

The Specialization weapon ammo resets to 0 upon logging back in or joining/leaving another game. I generally end up using it shortly after getting it, so I find it interesting that you are trying to collect or farm it, as you said.

Out of curiosity, when do you each use your Specialization weapons? What kind of situation do you feel best calls for it? How do you feel when using it in general?

You hopefully get arrows together for the end then use it on heavys ot the robots. I just switched to the launcher to get it to max damage, i have a feeling its going to be mandatory for raids like in Destiny. They need to stop erasing it if you collect it. It is like farming ammo for missions. I guess I'm confused what you're saving it for? Elites show up relatively frequently and you can typically reach full ammo by the end of a mission if you choose to not use it. If I recall correctly, Destiny also resets your heavy ammo to 0 or at least not full upon beginning a new session or a raid.

With a maximum of 7, what task/activity/challenge do you feel requires saving Specialization ammo?
