Hi. I have a similar problem. Yesterday (9th Dec) Division 2 would not close correctly when I quit the game. I waited about 10 minutes before terminating the game in task manager, Now the game will not launch when I try to play it. Please assist.

There are a few things that I can recommend for this launch error you're running into.

Before you do anything else, restart your computer and ensure that Ubisoft Connect is not running. You may need to open your system tray, right click on it, and close it manually.

Once that is done, follow the steps below:

  1. Reinstall Ubisoft Connect. Make sure you follow the steps in the article closely, to ensure that the next few steps can happen with no issues.
  2. Verify your game files. If any damaged files are detected, Ubisoft Connect will replace them.
  3. Try to launch the game at this point. If you have the time, play for awhile then close the game and attempt to launch it again.


If the error still occurs, and the game still fails to close down completely, please let me know.
