During the river raids, I am experiencing that jomsvikings that need rations will not heal when I give them one - if I input while Eivor is (about to) pull them up. They will stay down (or fall again immediately) and my ration is wasted. This happens consistently if the input is done approx. after the "revive" button being held long enough but before the jomsviking is walking by itself. This is a glitch since an "interrupted" revival should not take away a ration. I play on PC with controller. It happens on version 1.2.1 but also happened before the update.

Here's a video (from today) of it where I do it with 4 different inputs (there could be more than these) in this order: jumping away, aiming with arrow, light attack, heavy attack. Notice how the jomsviking does not get up afterwards, but that a ration was used anyways (in contrast to the light attack between third last and second last ration, where it interrupts before 'revive'-circle is filled and no ration is wasted). She even says 'thanks' sometimes... She better be grateful for gobbling up my whole rations pouch!

I heard someone else say they experience this at one point, but could not find an existing post about it, so here it is.
