[2023] Disappearing Apparel Item : Care Less Chest

I received the Care Less Chest piece yesterday, popped up in my list of Apparel items but I could not find it in my Apparel menu. The same item was given to me today and instead of just accepting it, I chose to immediately equip it. The item, a grey vest, clipped with some of things I was wearing, but looked ok.
I logged out, logged back in later and it wasn't on my character, instead, my previous chest visual, the Hunter's Fury jacket was there. I logged out and checked the character on the login screen: still wearing Care Less Chest piece. Login and it is not on my character and doesn't show up in my Apparel items.
