[2020] Assault turret not shooting enemies in foggy/bad weather yet still tracks them

I don't know if this is by design but it makes no sense that it tracks the enemies but won't shoot yet the striker drone has no problem in foggy/bad weather. These are supposed to be high-tech weapons yet weather effects them?
