After the stakes got destroyed zombies get their usual speed, not a booster. Maybe it looks like some booster becuase they get their previous speed.

There is something blocking a proper installation of that tool (SlimDX) so you cannot launch the game. Try to launch STEAM as administrato when you install the game

Have you tried to install in a different hard drive if you have more than one?
