It’s been one year since The New War released and introduced the Drifter into the world of Warframe.

Last year we asked that TennoGen artists leave New War spoilers out of their submission screenshots (for example, ‘please do not use The Drifter to model a head piece’).

Now, please feel free to include the Drifter in your submissions screenshots, item names, and descriptions. We are changing our policy since we have shown off the Drifter in places like the promotional material for Angels of the Zariman and the TennoCon 2022 gameplay demo for The Duviri Paradox.

On behalf of the team who works on TennoGen, we can’t wait to see what you produce now that we don’t have to be hush hush about the Drifter!

Quick follow-up hotfix to address players getting indefinitely stuck in loading tunnels! 

Fixes:

• Fixed getting indefinitely stuck in the loading tunnel when returning to a town from an open landscape (Plains of Eidolon to Cetus for example), Railjack loading tunnel, and the Zariman elevator.
  • The end of mission screen did not show the rewards in the UI, but players who were stuck did not lose any rewards from these missions. Their accounts were updated upon mission completion.
• Fixed using Feast on the Deimos Carnis Rex enemy halving Grendel’s jump height.
• Fixed the Status Immunity Invigoration preventing melee parrying.

Fixes:

• Fixed the Necramech Essential Mod Bundle missing the Necramech Intensify mod.
  • For those who purchased the Bundle, a script will be run to deliver the missing Necramech Intensify Mod. We will update the thread here once it has begun.   Script has been run and completed! You will receive an inbox message with the Necramech Intensify Mod upon opening/re-opening the game.

Voruna’s Ulfrun Descent Changes:

After one week of Lua’s Prey being in your hands and reading your feedback, we have a few changes to Voruna’s 4th ability, Ulfrun’s Descent. The majority of Voruna's feedback has been centered around this ability and its damage output, with the desire to make it feel more deadly. Below is our first take on bumping up the ferocity and opening up more synergy with her kit. We will continue to review Voruna's feedback - we have a few more things we’re experimenting with!

• Added 20% Critical Chance and 1.5x Critical Damage.
• Every kill increases Critical Chance by 5% and Critical Damage by 0.5x.
• Shroud of Dynar’s Critical Damage buffs also now apply to Ulfrun’s Descent.

Though you need an existing Warframe account to sign up for this iOS Closed beta, what'll happen is after a successful install, you will be prompted to create a brand new account via apple ID.

This iOS Closed Beta will let Tenno get a feel for the current touch controls, try their bluetooth controllers, check out performance in solo and multiplayer, etc., but you won't be able to play with your existing account's progress on iPhone or iPad during this test.

Every country has its own set of requirements and regulations for distributing apps! This list is not indicative of the countries where the game will or won't be available when it officially launches, only where we were able to run this particular Closed Beta test.

Changes:

• The Complete Starter Slot Bundle is back! Expand your Arsenal with 2x Warframe Slots, 2x Weapon Slots, and 2x Companion Slots.
  • Yesterday, we took down the bundle shortly after the launch of Lua’s Prey as there was an issue with the UI not accounting for the price of each individual Warframe Slot (incorrectly showing that 2x Warframe Slots costs 20 Platinum, which is the the cost of 1). Hello! There isn't a plan at the moment to 'fix' this -- basically, the server only wants one client to have access to an account at a time. If two clients are making changes to one account at a time (i.e. your Companion App and your Xbox both logged in to your Warframe account) it would be quite messy!

Last week we became aware of an issue with the Warframe Companion App for mobile and shared that we were working on fixing the blank screen / infinite loading. We’re happy to report that we have resolved the issue.

You will need to update the app to resolve the issue. There is a chance that the app will not alert you to the fact that an update is available; you’ll need to manually visit your device’s app store to receive the update.

Break Narmer Mission Changes & Fixes:

• Fixed Caches for the “Unlock Cache with Passwords” Challenge in the Prison Break mission not spawning enough to complete the challenge. 
  • Also fixed a script error related to the above.
• Fixed extremely rare issue where end of mission results would not update at the end of Break Narmer missions.
• Fixed Grineer Drahks teleporting to player location if they do not despawn after being freed in the Junk Run mission.
• Fixed script error caused by the “Unlock Cache with Passwords” Challenge not being active while loading into the Prison Break mission.

Ven’kra Tel & Sprag Fixes:

We have fixed script errors triggered by Kahl Breaking Veils that resulted in mission issues for both Ven’kra Tel & Sprag. These script errors also prevented both the “Find and defeat Ven’kra Tel” and “Find and defeat Sprag” Challenges from being achievable.

That said, upon login, 15 Stock will be sent via Inbox for those who have the respective incompletable Challenge noted above in “Prison Break” or the “Junk Run” Break Narmer missions.

Both Challenges will also be swapped to "Complete" in the Challenge tracking screens.

Break Narmer Mission Changes & Fixes:

  • We will look to add this back in our next Update when we can make the code change for all platforms! For now you’ll want to load into Kahl’s Captura with your best Fashionframe.
• Made adjustments to how the Shard Bane Ephemera is placed on some thiccer Warframes: Grendel, Chroma, Nidus Phyrke Skin, and any Oberon Skin.
