Dog Days Tactical Alert Changes:

 

  • Performance now can yield better results for the final Dog Days mission! Mission 4 now yields 1 Nakak Pearl per kill in addition to the 50 given at end of mission. More kills, more Pearls! 
  • As an added note, we will have more feedback implemented when DOG DAYS returns, including fixes for AI and more. Thanks everyone for the feedback and fun during this Tactical Alert! 

Fixes:

  • Fixed Virtuous Shadow not being an option for a rank up reward with the Quills.

EDIT @ 6:12PM: For those of you wanting to get your hands on all the rewards, we will be re-running this event in the future if you don't manage to pick up everything you want by August 12!

Tenno Reinforcements: Update 25.4.0

We want to take a moment to highlight some fundamental fixes and improvements in this update to improve your Warframe experience on the Nintendo Switch.

The big news is that we have included performance and stability improvements, along with a fix for a memory leak that’s been impacting the platform since launch.

Technically speaking - there was an issue with multithreading. Cloth and non-GPU particle systems were running on the game thread which hindered performance. This is now fixed.

We have also made significant strides in reducing memory usage which should improve stability. 

We are committed to improvements and there will be more to come!

We’ve also made the following changes for the Nintendo Switch: 

  • Shaders have been remastered to save approximately 300 MB!

Locking as it's kinda devolved into a weird thread here. We won't be changing this - if you want to do it all against a wall in one mission, you can. Or you can do it across several missions while doing other Nightwaves :)!

This PSA only pertains to a handful of you, but as I am part of that handful I wanted to take the time to explain a coming change so that we are all on the same page:

We are applying a 1000 Friend cap to your friends list.

I’ve certainly been pushing the technical limits of this with my ‘Accept All’ mindset, and as a result I have many errors that are entirely unique to accounts in the 10,000+ Friends range. Many of your favourite games and services have capped friends lists, and we will soon follow suit.

Your Friends list is more than just account IDs - we always look up their current Alias, selected avatar, last playtime, active missions, and more. Doing this for thousands of Friends can involve hitting huge database pages, and it affects performance.

This will be coming a few weeks from now. Anyone who logs in after the change who has more than 1000 Friends will be able to keep them ...
