Not only is this the return of a slew of Prime Vaulted items (and more!), but also the discussion of the Prime Vault program as a whole. Without question, The New War is our biggest priority for 2021 and is in full development swing. But just before The New War comes Update 30.9.0! This Update will be a Mainline for all platforms. It is largely Quality of Life and Bug fixes, with a groundwork for a Prime Vault style event that we alluded to in a prior Devstream. Quest to Conquer Cancer 2021 Campaign Wrap-Up!

We are amazed by the support and generosity shown by every Tenno, creator, and streamer who, for the second year in a row, lifted together in the 2021 Quest to Conquer Cancer!

As a community, you reached all of our fundraising goals, raising over $115,000 CAD in Donor Drive donations alone! But that’s not all, Tenno: the net proceeds from the sale of all Conquera charity merchandise items including Floofs, pins and t-shirts generated $29,771.90 CAD which Digital Extremes donated directly through Donor Drive on purchasers’ behalf. On top of this, to say thank you for all of your kindness, Digital Extremes has made its own separate donation of $30,000 CAD to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

October is coming to a close and all eyes are on our Quest to Conquer Cancer livestream Wrap-Up! [www.warframe.com] We won’t have any Devstreams in October, but we have been putting together some plans for what will be our last one before we enter the era of all things The New War!

We want to pick a date for our final pre-New War Devstream that works with our schedule and also gives you all some concrete information on what to look forward to. It’s no secret that it’s pretty challenging to run a Devstream when all our in-development content is top-secret and spoiler-heavy, so we’re trying to adjust!

With Baro’s return this week, he has brought the shiny new Vastilok to our PC Tenno! Typically, Baro’s weapons are always tradeable, but many have noticed the Vastilok is untradeable this time around.

For those keen on buying some extras, we have planned changes to make the Vastilok tradeable in a future hotfix. All previously purchased Vastilok’s will also become tradeable.

Plague Star has come and gone, and it’s time to give the Ghoulsaw a new home! We are adding a path for free acquisition, so players can still access it when Plague Star is not running. Our plan is as follows:

-The Ghoulsaw components will be available for Research and Replication in the Bash Lab in player Dojos.

-The Butcher’s Revelry Stance will be available as a drop from the Ghoul Rictus enemy!

This will release in a future Update on all platforms - this information can help you prepare if you missed out on Plague Star and still want to get your hands on the Ghoulsaw outside of the Market!

The first-of-its-kind Assault Saw is in your hands. Ghoulsaw has been out for a little under a week, and with it, our latest Melee Stance: Butcher’s Revelry. We are buffing some Combos in this Stance. More power is coming for Tenno that are out there combo’ing like the best of them.

The details:

Rictus’ Wrath Combo
- Added guaranteed Slash status on second hit
- Increased damage multiplier from 2 to 3 of the third attack
- Increased damage multiplier from 3 to 4 of the fourth attack

Rip 'n Ride Combo
- Increased damage multiplier of second hit in the attack from 1 to 2
- Increased damage multiplier of the final hit in the attack from 2 to 3

Reciprocator Combo
- Increased the damage multiplier of the first two hits of the first attack from 0.5 to 1
- Increased the damage multiplier of the fourth hit in the first attack from 1 to 2
