3.5.3 Patch Notes

While we're hard at work on our upcoming 3.6.0 expansion and its announcement, we're also finishing preparing the next big update for the ongoing Betrayal League. Alongside fixes and improvements for Betrayal, the 3.5.3 patch includes performance improvements and fixes for various crashes and bugs. We're planning to deploy this update by the end of this working week. In the meantime, check out a preview of its patch notes!

Please note that the following list may be changed prior to the release of the 3.5.3 update.

  • Added eight new Grandmasters to the Hall of Grandmasters.

  • Updated the appearance of the bridges in Crater Map.

For customer support and the community team we’re just looking at NZ applications. We prefer NZ for the web developer and programmer but we will take applications from elsewhere.

The Grinding Gear Games team is continuing to expand. We're currently looking for a Community Junior, Web Developer, Senior C++ Engine Programmer and more Customer Support members!

These roles are all full time and based in Henderson, Auckland.

Community Junior

For our community Junior role we're looking for someone who:


  • Has a great work ethic.

  • Has moderate experience in video editing either professionally or as a hobby.

  • Has a basic understanding of social media.

  • Has a knowledge of internet culture.

  • Has decent written communication skills.

  • Has a proven ability to learn and adapt.

  • Works well under pressure.

  • Has a good knowledge of Path of Exile.

  • Has NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Last week we posted an outline[www.pathofexile.com] of our development plans for 2019. We also wanted to keep you up-to-date about what we're specifically working on at the moment.

Earlier this week, we deployed Patch 3.5.2[www.pathofexile.com] which addressed many of the remaining bugs with Betrayal. Since then, we have been doing server and client hotfixes for remaining issues. We are keeping a close eye on bug reports and will continue to fix things as they crop up.

Yes, we should have new packs that replace the Betrayal Supporter Packs. These typically become available when the league is announced.
