Scarabs drop in Betrayal Safehouses from the chests in the living quarters of specific Immortal Syndicate members. There are three tiers of each Scarab (Rusted/Polished/Gilded), which correspond to the three ranks that Syndicate members can have. So these do require some effort to get, but with careful Syndicate planning, you can try to engineer it so that you get several per Safehouse run.

Eventually, yes. Maybe not right along side the launch of Betrayal, though.
Now, the question is, are these limited to 1? Or could you place 3 of them in with one map?
You can use multiple but no more than one of a single type.

So I assume ???/Polished/Gilded are different tiers of the mod? So a Gilded Divination Scarab would be 300% more div cards, and a ??? Breach Scarab would be 1 additional breach.
Edit: Also the flavor text mentions the Order - presumably the Order of the Djinn? These might be related to Jun's content, so not available in Standard.

Honestly, the community got so excited when Chris casually mentioned them that we havenโt been able to resist mercilessly teasing everyone about it. Theyโre not a huge deal but theyโre neat.

It's almost like we were Betrayed by Bex over the color scheme of the league....
Hahahaha, okay so here's what happened. The logo is yellow and black and the symbol above immortal syndicate members when they've been subdued is also yellow and black. I posted the teaser of the Summon Raging Bees microtransaction as a nod to this colour scheme and to allude back to Bee Trail MTX on the white board because people initially missed it. Then y'all straight figured out that it was Betrayal and I had to post something to throw you off your tracks. I later clarified that there was some turquoise going on but it was too late. You are too clever.
