Playing with friends when your characters are different levels is now easier than ever with Party Sync.

If you’d like to play WoW with your friends without having to worry about whether your characters’ levels are too far apart, the new Party Sync feature is for you!

Relive Azeroth’s History Together

When players activate Party Sync, everyone in the party becomes aligned to the same quest state and phase. By mousing over a quest in your tracker, you can see who’s on a given quest, what their progress is, and who’s ready to turn it in. You’ll also have access to a “replay quest” feature that allows players who have already completed certain quests to replay them with friends who haven’t for rewards that are appropriate to their current actual level, regardless of the original level of the quest. Quests can be replayed for rewards once a day.

While most quests can be replayed, there are some exceptions. Repeatable quests, such as dailies an...

Over the course of the first season of Grandmasters, Team Genji is putting the rest of the competitive scene on notice. Fielding more Grandmasters than any other team, they have emerged as one of the strongest teams in competitive Hearthstone today.

So, what’s the story behind the organization? We sat down with Genji’s’s North American Champion Francisco "PNC" Leimontas, the team’s European runner-up Linh "Seiko" Nguyen, and Genji’s co-founder Faraz Barmpar to discuss the team’s recent victories and some simple tips aspiring Hearthstone pros can use to level up their game.

PNC's Big Win

When PNC won the North American Playoffs, he became the first Latin-American player to qualify for the Global Finals at BlizzCon. “It meant so much to me,” explained PNC, “to have my devotion to Hearthstone rewarded.”

Increasing the mana cost of this card will make using both c...

BUG FIXES

War Chest: BlizzCon 2019

  • Fixed an issue with the Adept’s Ihan-rii skin when warping in.

MAC

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when leaving a match or a lobby.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when launching the Editor.

With the launch of Storm League season 1 we have seen a dramatic improvement in rank distribution. One of the primary changes in this release was in how rank is determined. In the past, rank and rating were two entirely different concepts, both of which were updated differently after each game. It was very common for a player's rank and rating to diverge throughout each season which could cause the matchmaking system to struggle to find games.

With the changes introduced this season, rank is always updated by taking the change in rating and determining the equivalent number of rank points to reward. This leaves very few ways rating and rank can diverge and results in most players being shown a number equivalent to their rating.

Overall, we are very happy with how the changes are looking; however, we are aware of the inconsistencies players are currently experiencing in Bronze 5. With the new design, players in Bronze 5 will gain/lose far fewer points per game than ...
