I just mentioned in another thread, but we haven’t announced a date yet. There are a number of other things in the patch that we are working on and need to get them all together so the content update can be released. I know the waiting is rough but we are getting closer as people have seen the progress on the PTR. Hang in there and we’ll announce… when it’s ready, heh.

We have not announced a date yet for the next content update. It is on the PTR in case you want to check things out and provide feedback, otherwise we are just working on getting it all together since there are a few other things in the update and not just the Allied Races. ./rollercoaster

We are still working away on Classic and look forward to getting it out to you later this year. Does that count? Or were you looking for something in particular? Let me know if it’s something in particular so I can look into it.

If you just want me to let you know that we are working on getting Onyxia to be like the original Onyxia, yes, that is the plan. Now who’s ready for an attunement run?

Is every pack being a problem in every dungeon? Or is it certain dungeons that are causing issues? Are you using CC on the trash packs at all? Are you reading up on mechanics for bosses at all or just figuring it out?

Things like this will help us narrow down the causes and potential issues. I understand we play the game differently but charging into packs of mobs can go wrong at times… I know from experience.

We are doing our best to spread far and wide how to prepare for the upcoming release of these Allied Races. I have seen some complaints about how we’ve kept things like this secret in the past and so it seems like a good idea to beat the war drums on this one. Some people may still be caught off guard by the requirements but we are doing our best to avoid that.

How about we flip it around … who can be the FIRST female dwarf paladin dancing on a mailbox in full Judgement… in Classic???

But to keep things on topic, in this conversation I feel the unique qualities of the paladin make it the right choice. Granted I always steer toward plate wearers but that is ENTIRELY BESIDE THE POINT. ...

Coming from Warcraft 3, there were two things that stuck out in my mind. One was in Ashenvale, when I traveled there as an orc and found the scattered remnants of the Burning Legion in the Demonfall Canyon. Heading in there and finding the sight where Mannoroth was destroyed was really cool.

The other was the Plaguelands (both of them). The Cult of the Damned, Uther’s Tomb, Stratholme, wandering through all those memories and battling against the entrenched forces there was a lot of fun.

So I had a weekend and came back to see that there were a few more discussions in this thread.

I wanted to let all of you know that I have been going through things and I really appreciate those of you who took the time to share their experiences, their play style, and how this system affects them. I also hope that some of you saw what I saw and how there are a few different opinions out there.

Sorry for the delay, but I got some details related to characters that swap factions and these requirements! If you do a faction change your reputations will switch over but quest completion does not, so if you want to qualify to unlock the kul tiran/zandalari you will need to do the main storyline for that continent and faction.

Note that for the War Campaign aspect, if you got to exalted with 7th Legion/Honorbound then you can just do all the chapters without any delays to gain more reputa...

Can you expand on how that trickle of items from the sources make gear and item-level meaningless?

Is it accurate to say that you no longer look forward to a drop, even if it’s a big upgrade, because there might be something else that replaces it soon? When there are like two ...
