Hi everyone,

A lot of healthy conversation surrounding the recent drone change is happening and we have been monitoring and discussing your feedback internally.

Our goal is to make PvE activities with drones a more attentive player experience that relies less on low or no attention gameplay moving forward, but the unintended impact on how the drone assist functions in certain scenarios is something we are not happy with. For this reason, we will be changing the drone behavior back to how it was before Tuesday’s patch in an upcoming deployment. We should have news for you on timing tomorrow.

We gathered a lot of valuable data and feedback from you and the CSM in the last couple of weeks on this matter and would like to thank everyone who shared their thoughts with us.

No we didn’t revert the interdictor changes (or Arazu). This was a bug that reverted some traits which we’ll be fixing in an upcoming patch.

Apologies for the scare in the meantime.

Hello Capsuleers,

In December, we will be modifying the ‘Aggressive’ behavior setting of drones, making them respond only to direct offensive actions taken by another Capsuleer (player) or their controlled drones.

Drones will therefore no longer automatically attack NPCs when their behavior is set to aggressive and instead will rely on player-issued commands to initiate action against a designated target. We are making this change to ensure that NPC killing activities move closer towards attentive player interactions and rely much less on low or no attention gameplay.

We also wish to maintain the criticality of Player versus Player engagements, and recognize those situations which is why drones will continue to attack your attackers when set to aggressive.

Note: Drones will only auto-attack Capsuleers piloting a ship. They will not auto-attack controlled Structures or Player Owned Starbases modules/...

Hello all,

With the latest patch on Singularity, we have added a the ability to toggle the 3D view when in space, or in your hangar. The ability to toggle off the 3D scene will allow quick access to a high-performance, low-GPU-usage mode when viewing the 3D scene is not necessary. When toggled with a keystroke (Control+Shift+F9, and can be re-binded), it will eliminate the need to go through settings menus, and will allow nearly instant reactivation of the 3D view when desired.

This has been a feature requested a few times from the community, and has been developed with collaboration from the CSM.

We’re looking forward to hearing your feedback on this mode, or if there are any issues you encounter please create a bug report while on Singularity with the details of your issue.

No it isn’t, this is my bad skills at writing the changes down  Thanks for spotting that.
We’ll update the post. The Sin just has changes to Thermal and Kinetic shield/armor resistances.

We have reduced their efficiency in mining in a previous patch, and we continue to monitor the situation for NPC mining fleets.

Yes, we will update the post to be more clear. Here is what it will say in the updated version:

  • All basic ores (Veldspar, Scordite, Pyroxeres, Plagioclase, Omber, Kernite, Jaspet, Hemprphite, Hedbergite, Gneiss, Dark Ochre, Spodumain, Crokite, Bistot, Arkonor), will be removed from moons. In some cases, they have been replaced with Moon Ore.

  • All basic materials (Tritanium, Pyerite, Mexallon, Isogen, Nocxium, Zydrine, Megacyte) will be removed from moon ore DNA (refining materials output table) with the following exceptions:

  • R4 moon ores (Bitumens, Coesite, Sylvite, Zeolites) keep their original yield of Pyerite & Mexallon (Tritanium was removed).

Enforced peace is always 14 days in the cases of surrendering, losing a war HQ, and now for failure to pay the War Declaration bill.
