Greetings again pilots,

We released an update to EVE Portal on Monday this week, with expanded Android device support. The issue we aim to resolve is that starting August 1, Google Play requires all developers must submit arm64 builds, or a bundle build.

The new bundle build has actually been in open beta testing for quite some time and so far we’ve been receiving positive feedback. Therefore we released the new build based on that new build mechanism.

Working on that, will post for that shortly.

Love your feedback! Glad you like the new EVE Portal.

You are not beating the dead horse, far from it. We’ve been collecting feedback from our community and are working on addressing issues as soon as we can. Obviously, some will come first and some later. The keyboard covering issue is one of the top issues we are working on to fix asap, for example.

We will keep releasing improvements to the app, please keep an eye on this forum section and we will post updates as soon as we do so.

Hey Sarmatiko, thanks for the feedback. On the loading feedback, EVE Portal 2019 should always show a loading animation if it is retrieving information from the server. Under what situation did you not see that? some details will be appreciated - and for us to properly track it, will be appreciated if you can send the details to [email protected]. Many thanks!

Hi, Am I right to assume that the beta build has resolved your issue? Once that build has passed further testing we will release it to the store.

Yes you can login multiple characters via “Character Switch”, whether their are Omega or Alpha.

You can do so by either clicking the “Character Switch” button (top left corner, above your character portrait) on the Home page; or going to the EVE shaped “More” button then clicking “Character Switch” button the More page.

Hey pilots,

First of all, many thanks for reporting compatibility issues on Android devices! We started off supporting a certain range of phones, but certainly not the full range (we will share more details in the near future for those who are curious to know why).

We now have a beta build with compatibility improvements for those of you who would like to give it a try and report issues if any. We understand that our testlab doesn’t cover the full range of Android phones, therefore we expect bugs in this beta build.
