Obviously there are some hurdles to overcome, but clear communication is the number one thing that gives me hope. I’ve followed games that fell apart, and the canary in the coal mine was always silence from the developers.

It's the least we can do! All games have bugs at launch, but we know how important these first few weeks are to ensure we have the trust of players. You all invested in us, and we need to prove through actions that we are invested in you!

Hello MeganMarie!

Thanks for keeping us in the loop, but honestly I would like some more about matchmaking besides "we are creating a troubleshoot guide". There isn't any troubleshooting to be done, It definitely feels like its on your end because every single player on every single console cant get proper matches going with teams of 4. Hope this doesn't take long to fix, holding the game back the most I feel.

The troubleshooting guide is just a part of it! We are also working on upcoming fixes/improvements for our next patch. I just don't have them yet, and wanted to put in a placeholder so you all know something is in the works!

Troubleshooting guide for matchmaking?

Bro it’s hit one button, the problem isn’t on our end.

Troubleshooting can also refer to user-side issues like NAT settings, but for the most part we want to use this to clarify bits of confusion around hero/mission selection and so on. :)

Also, I'm a bit new to reddit, so please give me a few moments to fix the formatting! This is a lot of text! :)

Edit: Okay, I think the formatting isn't too bad now, but please let me know if you have suggestions to make it easier to read or navigate!

Hi all,

Meagan here – I’m the Sr. Community & Social Media Manager at Crystal.

Threads move fast on Reddit and often there are multiple reports on the same issue. We realized that not everyone may see when we respond to individual threads and are hoping to resolve that with this sticky post!

We are scouring social media, Discord, and Reddit for your bug reports and feedback, but think a little context on what’s happening behind the scenes could help.

But first, I want to say that we hate bugs as much as you do. Although a lot of the issues below happen infrequently within the scope of the entire player base, your experience is our top priority, and each of you deserve the best possible experience we can deliver.

HOW WE GATHER BUG REPORTS

If you aren’t familiar with bug reporting or Quality Assurance protocol, to solve complex bugs, we have to reproduce them first. This means recreating t...

Hi there - we are investigating this and trying to find a fix! For the moment, could you try this workaround and let us know if it works for you?

  • Try and access campaign from the War Table in Avengers Initiative by pressing up on the d-pad, R1 to Reassemble window and select X to Preview. Then launch mission with Avengers “A” logo.

They didn't discuss their gameplay design for how gear functions gameplay wise, for example at end-game. (Besides saying you can purchase things for currency/materials from a vendor, which we already knew...) I want to know how legendaries and exotics work, and how the gear is itemized stat-wise for higher-tier content. By concealing this it leaves my largest concern about the game still unknown. Hopefully that comes in a blogpost over the weekend or in the War Table, but its a bit strange not to explain better the LOOTER portion of the looter. Makes me think it isn't very deep.

Hi there! I can understand how you might have been expecting a bit more specifics about the gear itself, rather than how gear works within the vendor system. What are your biggest questions about the gear system? I may be able to get some clarification - things are a bit crazy with launch next week, but I can try!

I'm definitely not complaining, more accessibility options are always amazing.

The one thing I hate, and this isn't just for this game, but all games, is that although they make strives and announce all of these accessibility options, I still have yet to see a single game give an option to turn down or off flashing lights for epileptic gamers.

I'm epileptic myself and there was a scene in the beta that almost made me had to stop playing. There is a whole area of Call of Duty Warzone I can't enter because of the flashing. I really wish more devs would look into this.

This is something that we've had on our wishlist for a long time! Hopefully we will be able to start looking at it again after launch. I'm bringing it back up with the team now!

Sorry for bother you, but could the team also look at an option for subtitles without closed captions?

Since english isn't my main language, I only play games with subtitles on, but I don't need the subtitles to say that Hulk is roaring, for exemple.

So If you guys could add an option to enable subtitles without closed captions, It would be really helpfull!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll start chatting with the rest of the accessibility team internally about it! :D

I've seen a few concerns about when information on cosmetics will come out. We're going to detail it in our Gear & Cosmetics blog later this week!

It's part of a series of blogs to ensure transparency on major topics before launch. Our first one just went live! https://avengers.square-enix-games.com/en-us/news/dayone/

Thanks for all the great feedback! The team is checking this thread out. I do want to throw Nixxes some love too - they have been a PC partner to our studio for nearly two decades. They are doing amazing work here as well!

Hmm, that's weird! it should be in the BETA - certainly in the full game. could you add a screenshot of what you are seeing?

It's an accessibility feature we're really proud of, so I'd love to figure out what is going wrong! :)

We’re investigating! Advice from our team is to either enable TAA as Anti-aliasing in Display Settings, or disable SSSR in Graphics Settings.
