There have been some questions in regard to the Famine Scourge Event and how tiebreakers will determine final Leaderboard standings and Rank Rewards. The team would like to provide a bit more clarity on the topic.

  • The primary method to mitigate ties is the efficiency system, which counts the number of actions a player has taken throughout the run with the highest score. This number is displayed at the end of the run.
  • The Tiebreaker (see below) is applied at the end of the event and your current placement on the Leaderboard is not necessarily your final placement.
  • If two or more players have the same score on the Leaderboard, the player with the highest roster TCP will be placed higher in the final rankings. You can check a player’s TCP in their profile to compare theirs to yours.

Good luck with working on your final runs to get the best scores possible!

Last week, there was an issue where a milestone was sending rewards through the Inbox that erroneously granted enough points for some players to complete the July "Summer of Thunder" milestone. While the dev team moved quickly to compensate other players to make things equitable, unfortunately that compensation was unintentionally also made available to the players that already got the rewards.

We understand that this issue caused frustration, especially as it occurred leading into an extended weekend here in the US. The MARVEL Strike Force team understands the competitive aspect of the game and the importance of maintaining that integrity.

Therefore, we will be sending players (level 14 and above) 50,000 Mjolnir Fragments to complete the Summer of Thunder milestone - the Inbox message will expire after 7 days. Additionally, there will be more tiers and rewards added to the associated Leaderboard's milestone rewards above 50,000 and up to 100,000 points, allowing pl...

There has been a lot of feedback regarding the Summer of Thunder event in that some players were able to complete the milestone due to a bug. The dev team has discussed the situation at length and we intend to publish an article in a few hours directly addressing the actions being taken. We want you to know this now as the post will go live today AFTER the regularly-scheduled weekly dev blog. We are working swiftly to address this issue today and appreciate your patience.

Today, a few players received an Inbox message regarding the Agatha Milestone. The message is not correct and was unintentionally sent – please feel free to ignore it. We apologize for the confusion.

There is currently an issue where a small number of players unintentionally received extra points for the Summer of Thunder Meta event. The event was taken down while the team investigates this problem and it will likely be reactivated tomorrow, Friday, July 1st PDT. As there have been questions to this effect, there will not be a massive adjustment of player progress but there might be targeted adjustments to the very small subsection of affected accounts. We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated as news becomes available.

The dev team has heard player feedback regarding the new Raid Sim feature. We are currently reviewing this feedback and investigating the feature itself to ensure that it is functioning as intended. We will update you when the investigations and discussions have concluded, likely next week. We appreciate your patience in the interim.

Dorky Dad gave the devs 7 days to make Gambit Raid changes, and they couldn’t do it.

Dorky Dad makes a Reddit post and Mobile Gamer makes a collab video with him, and suddenly we get Gambit Raid changes less than 24 hours later.

We greatly value player feedback, including content creators, who do a great job of amplifying community concerns to us directly. The dev team has been discussing that feedback at length since the Gambit Raid started last week. A multi-pronged approach to addressing feedback regarding new events/features takes time, usually longer than 24 hours. We'll continue to listen and consider potential tweaks.

The dev team has been closely monitoring progression of the Gambit Raids and listening to player feedback. We have some exciting improvements upon the Week 1 version of Ace of Raids that will help Alliances better progress as a collective.

First, the Week 2 iteration of Ace of Raids will now be an Alliance scoring event. With this change we will be adjusting the Milestone point thresholds so that skill in the Gambit Raid will grant improved event completion rewards. As a result, Alliances should feel less pressure to micro-manage the individual nodes on the raid and more on the overall results.

Second, we will be extending the Gambit Raid and event by one more day, to give players extra time to earn Dazzler’s Bracelet in the Rollin’ Rebel event.

Third, with the start of Week 2 of Gambit Raids, two characters will be added to each trait list to help your alliance progress even further:

- Clubs: Longshot, Beast

- Diamonds: Mad...

The 7-Day Streak feature is currently scheduled to be partially activated on Tuesday, June 21st PDT by end-of-day. As this is a partial activation, be advised that for the first 24 hours of the activation that players may not receive notifications of certain objectives being auto-completed. This should not persist beyond Wednesday, June 22nd PDT by end-of-day, when the feature is fully activated.

All players that log in after the feature is activated will have the 7-Day Streak fully activated. This complementary activation window will last until Monday, June 27th at 10:00AM PDT, after which time a player that hasn’t logged in since before the feature was activated will start at Day 1 of the streak.

We are greatly looking forward to rolling out this exciting new feature and listening to your feedback.

In last week’s Friday blog, it was announced that players who had participated in and/or completed the event, Bendy Girl and the Witch, would receive updated rewards via the Inbox. However, due to a technical issue (related to the event being over 3 years old), there will not be an Inbox message as we are instead resetting all historical progress in the event. This means that players that previously participated in and/or completed the event will be able to participate/complete it again in its entirety, including collecting all of the rewards.

The current version of the event will be removed and a new iteration will be created but the date it starts will not change. Subsequently, you will see that any previous progress has been reset.

Have fun powering-up your Ms. Marvel & Scarlet Witch and earning those updated rewards!

Greetings Commanders,

Sunfire (images on website)

Set to shine on the Unlimited X-Men team is the powerful Mutant, Sunfire. Alongside Gambit, Dazzler, Fantomex, and their Horseman leader Rogue, this team will be officially ready to tip the scales of judgment in your favor in the Cosmic Crucible game mode. Now, put on sunblock, and let’s meet the bright new teammate for the Unlimited X-Men…

Shiro Yoshida was born with a Mutant power that enables him to absorb solar radiation and convert it to plasma. Through this process, he can sheath his body in flames, fly, shoot blasts of plasma, and create a shield made of plasma. After his Mutant powers emerged, Shiro assumed the identity of Sunfire and originally engaged in villainous endeavors. He clashed with some of Earth's most powerful heroes, but he altered his views after seeing the good that the X-Men, Avengers, and other super heroes did for the world. As a hero, Sunfire became Japan's greatest...
