We hope you’ve been enjoying the recent blogs by Studio Director Christian Daley. As always, the work on Anthem continues and we’re greatly appreciative to all the responses and discussion we’ve seen around them so far.

For this year’s N7 day we wanted to celebrate by bringing back the highly requested Mass Effect-themed armors from last year! The bitpacks went live a few days ago and will remain up until the 10th. This sounds like a very important and complicated question that future BioWare will need to figure out. I assume future me will also have to message that so I hope it goes well.

In all seriousness that's something we're talking about and we'll share that with you all in due time. We totally get that the transition to whatever this next version of Anthem is raises a lot of concerns and questions. We're noting it all and plan on solving those problems and communicating them. I wish I had more but that's a very important future problem.

I will say that if you would've told me 2-3 months ago that that blog was going out today... I would call you crazy.
I can only really speak to my own struggles of working from home but as a team everyone is incredibly supportive over here. The work the Anthem team is doing is awesome, and it's a constant source of inspiration and motivation. It's a cyclical thing right? We all want to be doing out best work next to everyone's best work so we, directly and indirectly, continually motivate each other despite this uncertain and overwhelming time period.

I don't have an answer about consoles at the moment. (meaning I just can't answer it at this time) I'll note it though and of course we'll tell you guys that information when it's time.

Current ETA is when it's ready :) Obviously we'll share that information when the time is right but currently that is undecided.

I haven’t seen that particular rumor, but it’d be funny if it’s out there, because it’s not something we’re really discussing yet. We are aware of how you guys feel about it though and it’s a very understandable sentiment.

When we have more to share about it we’ll of course tell you guys.

This is simply not the case and I agree that's on us for not clarifying that this work has been happening for quite some time already before we even announced the news that we'd be reworking the game back in February.

In reality we've been working on this since last year.

Hello Freelancers!

As some of you have seen and from u/UNTDrew's last post in here we're adopted an initiative across a lot of our games where we want to encourage everyone to stay safe and healthy! What better way to do that than playing some games :)

In the first comment I'll attach some codes for various platforms for Anthem for any players who haven't had a chance to try out the game yet or for your friends!

Hopefully you’re all doing well and staying safe out there. We wanted to provide an update related to the weekly challenge “Legendary Runner”. This past week we noticed that it wasn’t granting rewards past the first time players had completed it. We have now fixed this issue and you should see rewards granted as originally intended again.
For those of you who already finished this challenge a few times after that first completion, worry not! We were able to track everyone who completed it multiple times, and have granted those missing currencies for each additional successful completion. You should now see those rewards granted to you in-game.

As always, we will let you know if we have any other server side changes to report.

Do you feel that? The winds of winter have finally dwindled, and the birds of spring have begun to sing their songs once more. Sometimes it felt as though the greenery would never return, but the snow has melted away and revealed the lush (and now blooming!) jungles of Bastion once again.
