Something that might be a silly question, but I'll ask nonetheless: any chance we might get recipes for the desert bus crusaders by making another donation? I really couldn't afford to buy them with epic gears, but I'd love to be able to upgrade them over time.

Huh, that's an interesting request. Since Desert Bus might reach people who aren't currently Crusaders players, we do try to keep our donation levels for them fairly simple, but for Desert Bus 2021 we can try to explore other options.

On a less happy note, want to +1 all of the Crow anger. As a moderately high spender (not sure if I would call myself a "whale") and someone who works in the game industry, I am disappointed that your team would shadow nerf Crow. I understand the nerf (even if it makes me and others a bit mad, sometimes you have to make hard choices for business), but I cannot understand why you would not publicize it. Not telling your players that you are making changes to the game is baffling and plainly stupid, especially because those players are going to figure it out themselves quickly as players do.
Personally, I think the player base deserves an apology for nerfing something without any announcement, but that is up to you.
I hope that at least 1 T6 crusader ends up being useful.

Apologies if this has been asked before but I was wondering if there's ever going to be a way to get upgrades for Desert Bus crusaders or perhaps Desert Bus chests?
I wouldn't mind donating or paying more once or twice, I just couldn't do it in one go - it's one thing to fork out $10 and another to only be able to get decent equipment for $50 (and that's coming from someone who does buy some of the paid content).

So the only way to upgrade the Desert Bus Crusaders is to donate at a higher level the next time we partner with them, since they are charity Crusaders.

So theoretically speaking if I don't update my browser, flash should keep working. Is the game going to be pulled off of Kongregate regardless, or can I keep playing there like that (or through one of the potential flash replacements like supernova)?
Sooo Adobe is being aggressive about this, and they're uninstalling Flash instead of updating it, if you've got the browsers that worked with the downloadable version of Flash.
They've also, according to some people, got a kill switch in Flash itself, and it will no longer work after Jan 12th, no matter what.
I'm not sure how instantly we'll be pulled off Kongregate once Flash is dead, but if players haven't linked their accounts before then, we'll get a system to transfer your game data to Codename or Steam in place.
We've had a look at Ruffle, and that doesn't have any Action Script 3 support yet, which is what Crusaders uses, so we for sure know that option doesn't work at this time.
I'll ask the team about Supernova in the new year, but if Adobe itself didn't come up with a Flash replacement in all these years....it's not looking good for browser play.
