Hi Dave,

Vermintide can’t affect behavior of any other application you are running. Issues you are experiencing with Chrome or discord have nothing to do with out game. My initial guess is it’s infamous GTX 970 3.5GB VRAM issue. Can you monitor how much free VRAM do you have before running Vermintide? And how much free VRAM you have when you are in Weave 104+?
Can you try to set your graphics settings to lowest to see if it will fix your issues?

P.S. Unfortunately one of the crash logs you provided has no crash info. Can you provide more logs or crash dumps?

I can see, that you are running with mods.
Try removing all mods and see how it runs. I’ve seen cases before when mods caused severe issues for the game

The slowdown in log happens on a phase where our engine initializes input devices.
I don’t know what exactly slows things down. Can you try to remove remote mouse and keyboard to see if you can reproduce it?

How much RAM do you have?
Can you post any of your logs? You can find them in %APPDATA%/Fatshark/Vermintide 2/console_logs
P.S. Quality settings shouldn’t really affect RAM usage much, but it should affect VRAM usage a lot

What input devices do you have connected to your PC besides keyboard and mouse?
What kind of keyboard\mouse do you have? Do you have any special drivers for them? Like controlling leds, macroses, etc.

Try running the game without any overlay software that hooks D3D dlls\etc.
There might be a million reasons for this slow down, since it’s Windows PC and every machine is unique - i.e. combination of software and hardware.
It can be your AntiVirus or any other protection software. The only way to find this out is to run Even Trace for Windows to collect data
