@Zizouw95 As I wrote, impact of maps was ruled out. Maps in general have very little impact on how much a mode (any mode) is being played.

PS: Brawl Ball (for reference) is played 230% more than Basket Brawl.

Duels underperform vs. expectations, the majority of players shun the mode. Judging by the data, also not a matter of maps.

Really surprising for me to see after so many people asked for the mode to come back. 🤷‍♂️

#BasketBrawl is played ~50% more.

@Mali0ne I disagree. New maps allowed for more focused learning on what works and what doesn't on our end.

PS: The other Duels maps will also get a closer look. Surprisingly tricky to make maps for specific Brawler types without it becoming a cheese fest. 🧀

Iron Core (Duels) isn't a fun map and can be rather frustrating.

The "why" isn't as straight forward, though: it's in part map design and in part the Game Mode itself, including how poison works today.

We'll take a look at both issues.
