Yes, some states in Mexico have problems due to the cartels - but again, there was not a single moment in Yucatán I felt unsafe.

This little guy came with us from Mexico: a Xoloitzcuintle (or Xolo in short), a native (mostly hairless) dog breed. 🥰
Fun fact: they are suitable for people with dog hair allergies!
