Magic: Good questions! More on demons later this year.
Melee: Our SCOUT unit currently has a slow on his bite. We've seen Lancers be an important part of most armies in our internal playtests. Melee feels pretty strong, I'd say.
Mayhem: We haven't revealed the next tier of units...

Hi, everyone. We were recently notified of an error on our Steam Store page. It incorrectly showed that we were planning to provide full audio voice over for every language we will support (even for languages that only exist in written form!) This was a human error, and I'm sorry that this set the wrong expectations around our localization plans for some of you.

We want to one day localize Stormgate with full voice over in as many languages as possible. That said, voice over localization is a time consuming and expensive process, so this may happen long after our official launch—and we may not end up being able to provide it at all.

For our official launch, we aim to provide subtitles for even more languages than we currently have listed, but that is still to be determined. We will update our Steam page again if and when we’re ready to confirm support for those languages.

It is! Please note that closed testing will start off VERY small, and we'll gradually let in more playtesters over time. We've already received more signups than we can let into closed testing, but we plan to give players some other opportunities to get into the playtest. Details to be shared later.

What has the Stormgate development team been working on? Here's a year-end update on the future of real-time strategy from the team at Frost Giant Studios!



CEO and Production Director Tim Morten is joined by Chief Architect James Anhalt to share an update on SnowPlay, the custom RTS engine Frost Giant is building for Stormgate to provide players with super-responsive and fun gameplay.

Art Director Jesse Brophy then reveals never-before-seen artwork for the Human Resistance and Infernal Host playable factions as he shares how the art team created a unified look for each race.
