No, my point was, without knowing, you can't really talk about "what happened" furthermore, I have stated MANY times throughout these forums that if you do not agree with a punishment you CAN put a ticket in and it CAN be over ruled, even if a violation punishment is warranted staff can go back and change the ruling depending on how the conversation goes with the player. I think I even stated that in this case the proper action would have been to put a ticket in and await a response, not publicly spamming about it without knowing all the details.

My point is always the same, don't attack ANYONE based off what you don't know. Which is what was going on in that topic and more than likely what will occur here if the conversations continue.

Furthermore,

The topic was locked as multiple players mentioned discussing punitive actions and moderation is a forum violation and I allowed the conversation to go on because I thought that the communi...

Folks,

As with every topic, people are allowed to have their opinions. They are allowed to like or dislike a content creator as they see fit.

However, we are not allowed to shame, attack or take a conversation off topic because you don't like someone's content.

This would be correct, the best way to inform a mod maker is in the mod maker section of these forums.

Our first suggestion will ALWAYS be to remove mods and play and see if the problem persists.

TBH, and this has been my experience for years. A LOT of the times, after mods are removed, a problem disappears....

There are A LOT of battles played and a lot of players never have this issue. I am one of those, so if I am unable to duplicate the issue we NEED replays submitted in tickets for our Devs to see what is going on.

Beyond that, the first thing we will tell you is remove any mods from the game and see if it goes away

If the majority of players don't have this issue and a small isolated group does, there is a chance we will never see it. This is why we NEED the replays.

At the end of the day, a big takeaway also, don't always believe everything on Reddit....

Oh I totally understand where you are coming from.

But my point. What is there to gain by putting out in the open what someone does wrong?

We literally have millions of players playing battles globally throughout the entire community and TBH even though people think that there is benefit, I don't think that would end well for anyone.

At the end of the day, break the rules, you receive punitive actions.

Case in point, I get spammed all the time by players that have had punitive action placed on them and they claim how wonderful an angel they are. Then you dig into their records......

Nope. I cannot/will not.

TBH, so long as I have played World of Warships, whether a player or staff, I have NEVER thought in the context of "this person had punitive action and says he didn't do anything wrong so obviously there is a scandal" mentality.

It is VERY easy to not receive punitive action and it actually takes quite a bit of work TO GET punished for various things. But I know, that some don't wish to believe this.

As I stated, it takes A LOT of work to get any suspension, if they got a 3 day, this is from an escalation specifically, I can't talk about it more than that. But yeah...

Sorry, you're completely wrong in "knowing how much research CS puts in."

Also, just because they have 1300 battles in game doesn't mean that they are not violating the EULA nor does it mean they haven't been warned.

Again, it takes A LOT to get an account suspended.

Also, just looking at their stats, with the amount of battles played and tiers of ships, TBH, I can say there is A LOT more goin on than just a "stupid mistake"

Also, specifically looking at their stats, since their numbers (if you order by number of battles) they are all over the place, which shows more than "simple mistakes"

And this is what I mean essentially.

It takes QUITE a lot of evidence across a long time to get an account suspended AT ALL.

-Hapa

First of all, I will say you don't know ALL that is going on in any report. How much digging CS did, how often this player may have played in violation of the EULA etc.

For a player to get their account suspended are you aware of how many reports with proof of someone "playing as not intended" it takes to get an account suspension? I would guess no.

It CLEARLY states in the EULA if you do not play as intended this is a violation.

I assure you, if this player was suspended it was not because they made "a stupid mistake" or that they only all of a sudden did something. It takes quite a bit of evidence over quite a bit of time (battles) in order to have this occur.
