Hi all,

We had a brief period where we were hopeful the connectivity issue was resolved, and unfortunately, last night the issues resurfaced.

We are experiencing service interruptions on Lineage II. This is not caused by our servers--our servers are not failing, and are running normally. What's not normal is the amount of illegitimate traffic our servers are experiencing. That traffic is causing high latency, disconnections, and what many of you have already reported-- being unable to connect to our servers.

Our team has been working and will be continue to work on mitigating the illegitimate traffic, and unfortunately, you may continue to experience various effects of this issue. We understand this situation has not been the best, but please know we will be taking next steps to make up for the lost time our players has experienced.

Hi all,

Hi all,

Thank you for being patient while I find answers. I followed up with the team on this and unfortunately, we made a communication error about seeing a gain with cumulative XP after level 55. The change that was made today was a reduction in XP required for level 55 to level 56 and no visual changes can be seen from your character. This means, as you have noted, you will not see an increase in cumulative XP and you will not see an increase percentage of XP.

We sincerely apologize for this miscommunication. We'll be spawning Angel Cat on the servers before day's end and there will be future bonus XP events. Thank you.

Hello all,

We originally understood when we launched Classic that there was a level cap of 70. Of course as many of you discovered that is not the case and the level can progressed higher than 70. So right now yes you can progress higher then level 70 as long as you meet each XP requirement, but the game content is capped at level 70. We are working on updates for both Classic and Live. Once we're ready to share information on what and when, we'll be sure to do so.
