The course correction for the arrows is very minor, they will curve but the arrows need to already be pretty close to the target.

Did you have an in-progress Ending the Storm before hitting the Empowerment Node?

Resetting the monolith might solve your issue here, we’re currently looking into this issue.

Is the health recovery bringing you above half health? If you are using this above half health, the mana cost from Shift will actually be more than the mana that will be refunded. This means you are still losing mana on cast, but it’s mitigated. You only gain mana when you are below half health.
