This should be fixed now. I'd fixed an issue with the SoA quest states under the hood, but it seems that on accounts that had been offline for a while - logging in on them wasn't fixing them properly. But... now it does!

I've definitely seen "would have been followed" broadcasts in clan before today though.
There are a few different situations that can trigger the different messages. Some displayed a broadcast, others didn't. Now every drop is broadcast, since it's such a rare drop, so why not!
Lastly, we’ve enabled loot drop broadcasts for all pets, including duplicate drops. Happy hunting!Anyone know what changed here exactly? Wasn't this already the case?
There were no loot drop broadcasts for duplicate drops in the past. You'd just see the "You have a funny feeling like you would have been followed..." and that was it. Now everybody else knows how lucky (Or unlucky?) you've been.
By the looks of it, it goes to the insurer and can be claimed for 1m.
If you get a pet and didn't have space (i.e. tangleroot or a boss pet etc) - it will go to Probita, but you will also get a free reclaim token allowing you to reclaim it (effectively for free).
Just to be 100% sure: If I have a pet out, and a full inventory, and I roll a pet, will I still be able to get it from probita?

Okay so, I have the placeholder for jad pet in my bank, but I don’t have him in the collection log. Do I just take the L here?
If you have a bank placeholder for the pet, regardless of it being on your collection log, you'll be able to claim it back! So no need for any taking of Ls.

u/JagexHavik great job once again ! First the Halloween event, now the Easter one, both were bangers ! (dunno if you contributed to the Christmas and/or Birthday events, but if so, well done there too !)
Thanks! I've actually worked on all the events since I joined (With some help, notably from Mod Kirby who developed some of the Birthday event and did the Easter event cutscenes). Christmas was my own idea and developed solely by me (Sorry for all that snowball rolling)!
And not forgetting all the amazing art work that is done for every event by the art team!

Thanks for this, it says if I had a bank place holder, I died shortly after I got the pet while I was still killing Kree, so got no bank place holder for it and I'm sure others in the past would have removed the placeholder if they lost their pet.. I'm hoping they change that to be "within the collection log".

I did lean more towards a cutscene/story focus for this. Tried to mix it up with half click-through chat and half stuff to just watch. The original concept idea by Mod Peppers suited a more story/cutscene focus. Maybe the next event will have a bit more interactive stuff, or a puzzle or two, who knows!
The rewards are always fun to make, and we can spend a bit of time on them since they're permanent unlike the event itself (Which will be gone in a few weeks!), so it's great that you like them! (Plus, it gave me a chance to hide a few references in them...)
Hey Mod Havik, I had some great fun reading the funny dialogues as well. But I'm pretty sure I saw that rune scimitar guy type "monastary" at some point. A typo.

I’m not sure if it’s mod haviks doing, but gotta appreciate the lil bit where the empty bottle is destroyed during the party, it’s not like many people would care if the bottle just disappeared and it had to, someone definitely would have found glitches around it pretty quick. Also the pie dish, it’s the small things for me.
That was indeed me! It would feel wrong not having an explanation as to why it's gone, and loosing it during the party (due to over exaggerated spooky dancing I imagine) seemed like a reasonable way to lose it!
I also apologise for destroying the roaring pie dish economy.

That was my goal, make something that feels old school, has some laughs, and easy enough for people to go through without too much interruption to their scheduled grind (Don't want too much xp waste), but still have fun. So seeing comments like this means a lot to me! Couldn't have done it without Mod Peppers concept idea either, I based the event on it, so big thanks to her too!
