And does progress on the bar carry over between logins/leaving the area, or is it reset each time?

Just for you. Progress is remembered permanently.

Rune 2h, total alch value: 2,000 coins.

no warning, all rune items in inventory, turned into cheap "tokens"

Jagex, please press F with me.

If you take the tokens to the Artisan's Workshop, you can trade them in for salvage items with the same or slightly higher alch value as what you lost.

Ok let's take an example. If my calculations are correct, you will be able to get about 1500 mithril ore per hour at max (maybe a bit more, but with ~99 mining, high tier pick, etc. you'll be getting roughly this). At 200 gp an ore that's 300k gp/hour. Who the f**k is going to mine mithril for 300k gp/hour except 1. a new player who is training mining 2. a bot? There just aren't enough low-level/new players to do the low-level mining and smithing that right now is being done by pvm, so you're going to end up with an economy that depends on bots. Then again, we already have a lot of bots and people don't really care that much so maybe it's not a big deal.

I share this concern. What players have told us over and over for years is that they want skilling to work as originally envisioned. This is kind of a test case for that, an opportunity for skillers to put their money where their mouths are, as it were. If it doesn't work, we'll have to rethink how we approach this problem.

The Ithell effect triggers before it checks for other effects.

In the rework you'll be able to remove it yourself.

Yeah I've checked and this was a bug which has been fixed. Masterwork has a prayer bonus now.

Just thought of something. Will you be adding divine luminite rocks as a TH reward like divine adamantite rocks are? I assume you haven't touched TH, just curious.

No we haven't touched TH.

There's a new DG reward to replace the coal bag which consumes coal to reheat your Smithing item automatically.

Not adding new tiers at this stage. If we did, they'd be balanced so they weren't worth doing anyway.

We're adding divine luminite, but none of the high tier ores at this stage. Miscellania isn't changing, it will still give coal.
