The server performance since the hotfix last week had reduced the server CPU usage by more than 50%, so you should not experience any of those latency issues that were started back in August.

The wrong expdata file from another region made it into the hotfix we received from the Dev team. We are working to revert it back now.

We are taking the servers down now.

Game servers will be down for an unscheduled maintenance beginning Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 1 p.m. PST /  3 p.m. CST / 4 p.m. EST / 10 p.m. GMT+1 and will be unavailable for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

With this maintenance:

• Potential fix for an issue where combat freezes when a character is auto-hunting
• Instance zones and timed hunting zones will be optimized for server performance
• The Holiday Trees from the Ultimate Holiday Pack will now have a 1 minute cooldown to prevent spam.

As a temporary measure, we will be adding a queue limit for the number of players connecting to the Live servers to reduce the latency delay. We are still waiting on the Dev team for the optimization fix.

We upgraded the servers a few months back, but it did not resolve the issue. Another upgrade is being discussed now, while we are trying to optimize the hunting zones.

The dev team is working on a fix now to help optimize the servers to reduce the latency. It is not related to the Christmas Trees for those who are asking about removing them. We will have an update on this issue after the maintenance tomorrow.
