While we are hard at work on creating content and addressing player feedback we of course do see our concurrent player numbers down, but you will find in the near future that the game is absolutely far from dead. There is a very bright future for Last Epoch and LE players.
We’re working diligently and faster than ever. If you look at our patch notes for major patch releases you’ll see that they’re very extensive. 1.2, or Season 2, will be no different, and very significant.

We have had an exhilarating week, celebrating your victories and lamenting your defeats. We cheered on every attempt at Aberroth we could find. We watched in sadistic glee as he demolished the hardcore leaderboard. Spending that time with the community is a once in a lifetime magic, and it is humbling to say the least.
This weekend a new gold dupe exploit was brought to our attention. The integrity of Last Epoch’s player economy remains paramount to our mission of creating an amazing ARPG experience. We wish to thank you, the community, for bringing this to our attention promptly.
We detected the exploit and temporarily disabled player-to-player trading (which was the method being used ) via server-side flag, while we investigate further. We’ve also increased our monitoring and are taking action against abusers. These actions have already had positive impact, as we see prices across the bazaar stabilizing.

Read moreI’ll say I was not a believer in dodge roll (evade) before the team prototyped it and we got to play with it. It feels good and we believe people will agree when they get their hands on it.
No we’re not going to make regular Epoch content require lighting fast reflexes because of this addition. Maybe the pinnacle boss? We’ll see as we’re still balancing the fight.
Just another note - I want to emphasize how much the roadmap leaves out. Look at any of our other major patch notes and consider we’re only getting faster and adding more team members.

Wow, what an opening week for Last Epoch. We are absolutely floored by the turnout and response to the game. Having started as an after-hours passion project from die-hard ARPG fans, we’re in awe that Last Epoch reached 265,000 players online at one time this weekend, the #39 highest concurrent user count recorded on Steam - ever. We appreciate you all bearing with us as the load initially gave us trouble for online gameplay, but we’re happy to say that we’re holding mostly steady above 200,000 players in-game and have made improvements each day in the backend infrastructure to support the demand. We’ll continue to monitor and address any issues that crop up.
