SE_Kahuna

Hey everyone!

Those of you that have visited a con before probably know that problem - you want to know more about a game, but more often than not, the booth staff can barely explain to you how the demo works.

We want to change that, and at the same time give some of our biggest fans a chance to have a look behind the scenes of one of the biggest gaming conventions in the world!

As a Community Ambassador, you'll be answering questions about the game by visitors and give them an introduction to the game, among other things. You'll be working with other team members and you'll get to know a few of us :)

You'll get free entry to the convention, a free hotel room (shared with one more ambassador - why not apply with a friend?), a goodie bag, and more.

There's a catch - you have to be fluent in German. But I know that a lot of Germans (and people speaking German) frequent the subreddit, so this goes out to you.

I thought I’d let you know that we have just put online the FFXIV PlayStation 4 product pages (you will find a link at the bottom of the post), and some of the info on there might be of interest to you. I promised I’d introduce myself, so here goes nothing, I guess!

Tl;dr Hi, the name’s Kahuna, I work for SE as a community person, I played FFXIV even before I started, and now I’m here. Kthxbye!

Wall of Text: My name’s Hergen “Kahuna” Thaens, and I'm now the resident Square Enix guy here. I'm currently working in the Square Enix Europe offices in London, and have been for about a month now. I've miraculously survived as a CM in the industry for almost 6 years, though mostly for ze Germanz.

I was lucky to have a lot of free time before SE hired me, and the free time coincided with the release of FFXIV – I'm quite happy with my equipment and the last time I managed to find time to play, I was wiping on Twintania and Titan EX. Raptr has logged something around 700 hours or so. No judging! Back in 2005/2006 I've also been playing FFXI.
