Thanks for pointing out the inconsistency about the Starter Edition. That's a mistake on our behalf. Unfortunately we can't edit the lodestone article until Monday.

To clarify: Only the items listed on the ShopTo campaign site are available during the campaign.

Sorry for any confusion caused!

No worries. Hearing that, it might also be the CPU that is clogged up by something. Especially virus scanners tend to be very CPU intensive while they scan and access the system bus while playing. Some/most virus scanners also check every file that gets loaded into the RAM, and if that takes a while (for instance because the virus scanner is currently scanning a large file in the background), it could theoretically also cause these symptoms. So that may also be worth looking into!

That sounds very weird, as if the game can't load the required animations/textures from memory. I would suggest running both HDD tests and RAM tests. You can also try to run FFXIV from the 1TB HDD instead of the SSD to see if that fixes the issues, but if I remember correctly, that would require a reinstall (not sure, apologies!).

You system certainly looks like it should be able to easily handle the game, even if the 3770k is over 5 years old at this point.

Hi there,

Can you please make sure to post this on the existing thread on the official forums? I have only had one other report since the fix, so it may be a freak error, but I'll of course mention it!

Thank you!

Make sure to use your Aether Compass every now and then, especially when you think there should be a current around. The compass doesn't lie :)

Very nice, lovely coloration work and control of watercolour bleeding! The colour scheme is also very harmonious. I agree with line art comparison - this seems far more chipper :) Great stuff, hope to see more of the likes here!

Welcome to the subreddit! Can be a very nice place to hang out on. Come for the information, stay for the hidden easter eggs!

First of all: When I read this, I imagined the woop woop sound effect as the sound the TARDIS makes.

Also, yes, someone needs to bring light to the suffering of characters that are sent through debilitating flashback effects. No wonder he suffers from amnesia when he's flung into and twisted by this whirlpool!

Hey there,

Ran a couple quick tests and they ran flawlessly, zero jitter as well. Might have been a temporary issue with the carrier. If you see similar problems regularly, feel free to tag me in posts using /u/SE_Kahuna - if I'm around I usually react to it.

I'm absolutely in awe how tranquil, yet slightly creepy this looks. Great scene!

Good luck! We've had two kills in the last three days :) I can also recommend the gamescom mega thread, or finding people in the queue of the battle challenge or battle arena booths!

You will be given a time slot if one is still available :) Sorry for the late reply, I'm MCing on the battle challenge booth

There's a Black Mage in the mega thread that's looking for a group :) Just remember please that you need to sign up with 8 people present at the booth! Can't sign up for friends.

They only thing you have to keep in mind is that you indeed need 8 people to register. Also you need to register on the same day.

This is indeed correct, but please note that all 8 people are required to be at the booth and sign with their names. So no signing up for friends :)

The two FFXIV booths are facing each other. Imagine it like this:

X O Y

X is the Battle Challenge booth, where you can get "I BEAT THORDAN" and "I BEAT SEPHIROT" shirts.

O is the Eorzea Grill, a food stall

Y is the Battle Arena with the stage, the battle roulette and the Feast

Hope that makes it a bit more clear :)

They've been there for about 5 hours already :) Quite busy here given that it's only trade visitor day today. If you're coming to gamescom, make sure to visit us in Hall 9, impossible to miss!

The game is made with international players in mind. Higher ping situations are handled well - you might just have to learn to move a bit quicker for ground effects and the likes, or to time your abilities, but in most cases, that should be negligible.

As long as you have an account, you can create characters on the North American, European and Japanese data centers (as long as the world you chose is open for new characters). So yes - not only can you play with people from all around the world, but also across all platforms (PC, Mac, PS3, PS4) :)

That being said, I do not think we sell the game in Malaysia right now (I could be wrong). So there may be challenges I can't foresee right now.
