Based on collected feedback regarding ground vehicles, we have decided to make additional changes that consist of transferring some of the top and pre-top ranked vehicles to a higher level. This change does not apply to all top ranked vehicles. Based on the results of the change in performance efficiency, further adjustments to the BR (increase or decrease) will be carried out for units affected by the change and also for units that also haven’t changed rating at that time.

It has also been decided to abandon some of the points regarding the reduction of BR in AB for vehicles with HEAT shells with high penetration at their rank. Except for the Ikv 103 for which the high penetration of the HEAT shell at a relatively high rate of fire for similar guns is compensated with poor ballistics, insufficient protection and mobility. The alternative to changing the rate of fire of the Type 69-II G was to increase its BR to 8.7, the current efficiency of the unit is much higher...

You cannot unlock squadron vehicles by playing regular battles (well, not directly).

Squadron vehicles are researched via squadron points (you gather them as a squadron).

Game is balancing team on BR.

It would not be fair to balance it on level, because reasons mentioned by me earlier.

Sooner you will stop spending time on enemy stats, earlier you will get more from battles

Only if you consider playing Air, Ground or Navy exclusively.

But in WT you have one level for all branches = 100lvl has no meaning. You can be 100lvl and be a noob in navy, because you earn your level on tanks exclusively.

"Radar/IRST beyond/within visual range combat” option now works with the helmet-mounted display.


AD-4 — an issue has been fixed with the missing pylon for the FFAR Mighty Mouse rocket pod on the right wing.


Harrier GR.7 — a bug has been fixed that prevented the MAX G indicator to switch off while landing.


Hampden TB Mk.I — a bug has been fixed where bombs mounted in the bay were first to drop.

Punching through fences








Many structures in the maps for ground battles serve two purposes: creating a believable environment and providing some cover for the warriors to hide behind. Some destructible structures, however, went above and beyond their purpose and decided to not just hide the fighters but also shield them from fire! Sure, they were destroyed in the process, as they should have, but the enemy that was hiding behind them got a free chance at counterattack instead of deserved damage.

Initially, the ‘distant hand’ for the MiG-29 in War Thunder were the R-27 missiles with heat and radar seekers. The missile features slightly better maneuverability than other medium range missiles in the game, though in the stock version its launch range is crucially lower than AIM-7F’s, which is the ‘distant hand’ of the American F-14 and F-16, and even slightly lower than R-24 fire range due to the lower thrust. Considering that the second component of the MiG-29’s air-to-air guided weapon, the R-60M, is inferior to the AIM-9L in terms of its combat characteristics, we decided to equip the Fulcrum with and advanced missile of the R-27 family, the R-27ER with a radar seeker, which has a slightly higher power-to-weight ratio than the AIM-7F, but, given the shorter operating time of the on-board equipment, has identical fire range with the AIM-7F.
