No, that is indeed correct. I was for some reason assuming that that question was in regards to thralls who are abandoned because their owner does not play anymore (ie the old floating thralls not belonging to anyone).

That is indeed something that is an issue and the main reason a counter is being worked on to at least give some insight of what other thralls might be around. I also have a few open questions to the team in regards to suggestions that were brought up. Even if we are not able to implement some of these right now, I will make sure to keep the discussion going about those.

We should have some time until we do enable the system, to hopefully put some more things in place to make it more convenient to organize your thralls.

As always, thanks a lot for your input. <3

I already mentioned above that thrall damage is being adjusted.

All right, please, breath. There is no need for hyperbole.

Every new system introduced will need balancing over time. Especially in a system as complex as a Sandbox Survival Game. This is also where your input comes in.
For now, we feel that with the testing we were able to do, the numbers are working as intended. Damage is getting slightly tweaked, and if we get feedback that the numbers need to be tweaked further, we will look at it.

I am also not sure what exactly you mean by “break the game” in this particular context. Do you mean thralls that can be “too” powerful? So far, we’ve seen a few super lucky cases. These are part of the system, as long as the cha...

The bug is indeed fixed internally, but I would like to mention how absolutely fantastic your bug report was. Seriously, thanks for taking the time to do such an in-depth report.

Don’t tell anyone, but it took me a little bit to get used to the turning and controlling the horse, too
But also, no on was born a perfect rider

Correct,
Not yet placed thralls, even if they are from before the patch, will turn into new thralls if placed after the update.

Feel free to report anything you see. You might consider something very important while the same issue might be trivial for another player (or visa-versa)

We will cross-reference with already known issues and note down anything new.

We are discussing the option of having some new servers that would be wiped periodically.
There is no actual decision or plans yet, though, and I can’t make any promises that something will happen.

As someone pointed out above: There were Blitz servers during Early Access, but they turned out to be the least popular servers. That doesn’t mean we are not open to trying something similar in the future

Is this feedback coming from watching footage/streams, or did you already test it for yourself on the TestLive servers?

We are aware that it will take a bit of getting used to, but the team is positive that the changes will feel better for combat once players have tested it for a little bit.

We might, of course, be mistaken, and the majority feels otherwise. So please make sure to indeed test for a bit and then share your thoughts and reasoning with us

I would suggest trying to verify the installation as it might have been corrupted during the install.
Please let us know if the issue still persists after verification.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts
I am moving this into the TestLive section, so it is easier for us to distinct feedback by patch

We did not roll back all servers, only confirmed servers that we’re targeted during the initital attacks and attacks following the first hotfix.

1974 was a confirmed target on Monday, and the players, who were targeted directly, lost all their progress. This was the reason for the rollback of your server. Also, these attacks were not only on American servers.

Hello Exiles,
As you might have noticed, there was downtime for a quick hotfix on Monday the 18th of November.

I wanted to give some more details and facts on this hotfix and also give context to some of the discussions going on on the forums:

In the middle of last week, a player manipulated game code to disrupt specific servers. Some players on these servers were directly affected, and this resulted in the loss of all progress made since the servers’ official introduction right after release.

Our development team reacted immediately and created a fix that we applied to all servers yesterday.

Let me clarify that this wasn’t merely an exploit of game mechanics, but the attack of a hacker who targeted certain playe...

The team is aware and we are addressing this as fast as we can and with critical priority.
We are really sorry for all the frustration this causes.
