It’s totally fine to use admin mode and private servers. Just remember to not show any mods or DLCs that are not included in the base game

This is not a marketing strategy push or a special promotion. We simply wanted to update the screenshot of the base game with new ones and thought it would be great to give the community an opportunity to be part of it. That is all.

The team is very proud of what the art/engineering department has achieved with the update to the lighting on Siptah and they discussed introducing volumetric fog into Exiles but right now we cannot commit to it because of the impact it has on the client performance on the console version of the game. If we get a chance in the future it is definitely something we would want to do, but we need to focus on optimizations for Siptah and Exiles on consoles first

This is because the Screenshots are going to be shared on the Base Conan Exiles Store Pages and we can’t show anything that is not included in the base game in a screenshot.

Internal discussions are going on right now about options and ways to be more transparent about things coming for the year. So yes, we are indeed looking into ways to communicate our plans to our community better

I wanted to quickly chip in here:

This makes it sound like you think we don’t already collect and quantify feedback (here and on many other channels).
We have tools and are taking player sentiments on all topics that are being discussed. That is one of the main focuses of a community team.
These things are brought up every week in a meeting with the other leads (in addition to bugs and feedbacks)

There are a few challenges with official polls:

• Not all of our players are using these forums
• It’s not a great idea to make polls if we are not 100% sure we can act on the players’ wishes.
• We are working on a solution to do polls but also ensuring that we catch as many of you as possible.
• There are too many different types of players in Conan Exiles and polls might be skewed one way or another.

There are many more things to keep in mind.
We have been discussing internally how to get more and earlier player in...

It is definitely on our list already (and with “our” I mean the team as a whole).
I do have weekly meetings with the rest of the team and it is one of the items that we will discuss as high priority
