We’ve received reports that every Legendary Pokémon discovered in Pokémon GO so far will be appearing in five-star raids during Pokémon GO Fest 2021! Strange, right? This sort of thing hasn’t happened in the world of Pokémon GO before, so we’re just as puzzled as you are. Hopefully we’ll get some answers during the event as to why this is happening.

Please note that it might be challenging to battle and catch every Legendary Pokémon in the allotted time frame, so plan accordingly!

The Pokémon Company has launched Pokémon Air Adventures, an initiative started in Japan that helps create wonderful travel memories. To celebrate, in Okinawa, Japan, a special Pikachu wearing an Okinawan kariyushi shirt will be appearing in Pokémon GO starting July 22! UPDATE: 6/9/2021: Trainers, we have increased the Stardust rewards for GO Battle League to match the amount awarded at the end of Season 7. The initial reduction was an oversight, and we apologize for the inconvenience it caused. To compensate for the missed Stardust in the first week of the season, we are increasing the end of Season 8 Stardust rewards to twice Season 7’s amounts. Following Xerneas’s recent arrival in Pokémon GO, the Legendary Pokémon Yveltal will soon be making its Pokémon GO debut in the Luminous Legends Y event! Dark-type Pokémon will also be appearing more often in the wild, and Pancham will be hatching from Strange Eggs.
