When returning to Homebase from a completed Mission, or after leaving an SSD run, the player may lose the ability to move up and down with their D-pad.

Temporary Workaround: Players should still be able to navigate menus vertically using the left stick, or by going to the Locker tab and using D-pad commands there.

We recently identified an issue in \@‌PlayApex that was causing a discrepancy between RP earned and promotions in Ranked matches. We’re currently in the process of rolling out a fix to correct the issue and restore accounts to their intended Ranks. As a result, some players may see their Rank increase after today. Thanks for being patient while we get this sorted out!

23.1 Patch Notes listed the argument incorrectly with two dashes, but it should be:

-anticheat_settings=SettingsDX11.json

Players who had anticheat_settings=SettingsDX12.json in their launch arguments will need to remove it for 23.1.

For Steam:

1. Right click on Apex Legends, select “Properties”
2. Under General, Launch Options, remove the text that says “-anticheat_settings=SettingsDX12.json”

If players place B.A.S.E. or a Trap down on any structure piece, they’ll be unable to edit the structure or place new Traps.

Temporary Workaround: Upgrading the structure piece allows Traps to be placed or structure tiles to be edited again.

When attacking player-built structures the Wall Traps are on, Husks can damage and destroy the Traps.

Placing a Trap on a building, upgrading the building, then leaving the zone - causes the Trap and the materials used to disappear.

Temporary Workaround: Starting a Storm Shield Defense fight after the Trap is place, and building upgraded, will properly save the Trap.
