@Salzstange3000 I agree the health and quality info are redundant in this case; it is something we could optimize out for an even cleaner UI.

@Salzstange3000 See, you're looking at it from a power-gamer point of view. The tradeoff here is that packing a ton of data onto every possible space on screen produces a wall of text that harms newer and casual players. It's an approach that benefits one type of player but harms others.

@Salzstange3000 Yeah, general UI complains have been coming forever, but it's harder than it looks.

When specific ideas are brought up they're almost always either bad tradeoffs, or something that benefits one player type but harms others.

At end of day, it's an inherently complex game.

@iMonix IIRC we needed to check hairstyles of pawns who spawned with hats by default.

This is ever more bizarre since the NYT's 'policy' appears to be made-up. They've done stories on various pseudonymous people over the years without doxxing them. So why must Scott be doxxed, given it will obviously ruin his life?

@IADaveMark Galaxy brain: Refactoring *your own* old forgotten code so you can understand what the hell you were doing... so you can then spend a long time replacing it.

@User63721 You can put out requests for traders of specific types using the comms console.

@fassinao Given how psylink works now, it didn't really make sense any more. Plus it trivialized a ton of the game to steal 6 psylinks from one guy. I've got thoughts on how to bring this back though e.g. A weird device that gives you a psylink by consuming someone who has one.
